Nena, saludáme al Diego (Honey, tell Diego I said hello) is a comedy from Venezuelan director Andrea Herrera Catalá and is her first feature length film directed on her own. Sofía (Sofía Bertolotto) is the daughter of Isabel (Marialejandra Martín), content director of Canal Cultura, a TV channel suffering low raitings. In order to save her career, Isabel hopes that her recently graduated daughter from journalism school in Spain can rejuvenate the channel. Sofía, however, does not even plan on staying in Venezuela because she claims she has discovered her true identity. She assures she is Argentinean and strives to find the way to move to that country at the other end of South America, which deeply perplexes her mother.
