Young and Wild (2012) is a chilean movie directed by Marialy Rivas. This film is based on a true story about a blog that Camila Gutiérrez, one of the writers of the movie, had maintained. The plot revolves around a wealthy and conservative family that is strongly involved in its evangelical faith. The 17 year old daughter of this family, Daniela Ramírez (Alicia Rodríguez), rebels against the religious system in which she was raised and which caused the expulsion of her older sister from the family. Meanwhile the only relative she finds refuge and support in is in her aunt Isabel (Ingrid Insensee) that suffers from cancer. The protagonists experiments with different sexual partners and then writes about it on her blog. When she begins a relationship with Tomás (Felipe Pinto) and maintains a paralel relationship with Antonia (María Garcia Omega) her blog ends up impacting these relationships and complicated her family life.
